Obesity or fatness develops when the calories we consume are higher than we burn and this results in increase of fat deposition. Due to the developing technology we mostly have stopped walking and working phsically. We are overworking so we don’t have any time to exercise which is a need for our bodies. We buy food with fancy packages and usually don’t check for the ingredients. In consequence of population growth, the demand for food increased. This caused the production of long-lasting packaged food that contains chemicals.
In addition to our eating habits and inactivity, factors such as genetic predisposition, psychologic stress, pregnancy ease the way to incontrollable weight gain. Thereafter fat deposits ocur in different parts of our bodies. As the weight slowly increases, it makes moving, even putting on a sock, very difficult.
Well, does obesity only cause visual ang physical problems? Absolutely no…
As internal organs start to fatten, the life expectancy decreases. Vascular occlusions increase and heart attacks occur. Diabetes begins and treatment may end up at a need for insulin. We struggle controlling our blood pressure and the number of medications increase. The quality of sleep falls off, sleep apnea and snoring may develop. As long as we fail to take our weight under control, functions of all our organs begin to deteriorate.
