GASTRİC BALLON

This non-surgical procedure is suitable for patients who are slightly overweight. This procedure does not require hospitalization. There are two types of intragastric balloons: the ones inserted via endoscopy and the swallowable ones. Endoscopically placed balloons also have two types: the ones lasting 6 months and the ones lasting 12 months. The goal is to lose up to 20-30 kilos in 6 months. By the end of the 6 or 12 month period, intragastric balloon is extracted via endoscopy.
