In the process of losing weight, most preferred technique is to have frequent mini portions. We should have main meals and have healthy snacks in between times. If we starve ourselves by having one or two meal in a day, our bodies will consider this as a difficulty about finding food and will lower the metabolic rate in order to ‘survive’, and this will corrupt the weight-loss process. Also, after the long hours of hunger, our blood pressure will go down and result in the possibility of losing control during the next meal.
Having healthy snacks between main meals is important. In order to be able to minimize the main meals we should have small portions of fruit, yoghurt, milk or dried fruits (walnut, hazelnut, dried apricot or persimmon) in between times.
As you know, flour, salt and sugar don’t exist in a pure state in nature. As the human body is a part of nature, we are all exposed to these substances. Except special occasions, we shouldn’t consume refined sugar, flour or bakery products. We can satisfy the need for carbonhydrates with legume and 1 or two slices of whole grain bread.
Oil preferance should be olive oil or natural butter. We should consume roasted, boiled or grilled lean meat instead of fried options. This will also help our intestines to work more properly.
We need to drink at least two liters of water in a day for a healthy blood circulation and rejuvenescence. You may think of different fluids but water is the healtiest and most natural option.
We need to stay away packeged food, and also check for ingredients. We shouldn’t get the products that containt plenty of chemical additives.
